I am not sure. In this case he was blatantly breaking recruiting rules.

Every coach worth a crap was doing the same thing. As Pete Carroll said, the ones that weren't were just lazy.

no. The ones who weren't were following NCAA rules. There is a difference. A college HC can call a HS coach for an "evaluation" of a player any time he wants. There is no need to visit a HS campus during a dead period..........unless you want face time with a HS player when it is not allowed.
