I find this story very interesting b/c I was told this EXACT story by a former student trainer at MSU here at work. He had the exact figure and names involved and everything and said all of starkville knew about it

Auburn was told about this long ago and knew the NCAA was looking into this in July, if there were any wrong doings they'd have sat him the entire season as we didn't need another QB.
This statement is pure GOLD! "Yeah... Heisman and all, we didnt need him." lulz
If Im Auburn, i play him anyhow... even if the NCAA is loking hard at him. He clearly gives you the best shot at a BCS, and any investigation would probably take 6 montsh to a year, and theres always the possibility you win it all, but the evidence just isnt solid enough and you get to keep your crystal trophy.

I'm already tired of hearing and reading about this.

NEWOTiger,
thanks for the link, I never would have guessed Auburn would be sticking by their quarterback throughout all this

The Aubies are waking up to day two realizing they have a brand new role to play now. They are the fiddler on the Titanic.

Cam was an unknown quantity going into the season. Remember all the threads about how overrated he would be yada yada, you are looking at it with 20/20 vision. At that time we had Trotter, who'd start at nearly any SEC team except Ark, Mosley and Caudle are very capable backups as well. To take this kind of a risk when we had others who could move the offense well would be retarded.
On a good note, Chizik is absolutely furious over this.

Yeah, Caudle and Newton are pretty much the same guy. I don't see what the big deal is.

So this year's Egg Bowl is the battle between the Black Bears and the Rented Mules.

Nah. Until someone produces a blue cum stained dress, it's a brilliant strategy.
Cuz if you're lying, anger is the best way to mask it. Keep your answers short and punctuated with lots of anger.

The Kool Aid is strong with this one.
You do realize that LSU is "set at QB" as well... prolly couldn't use another REALLY GOOD ONE.
Other than Baylor and their QB Robert Griffin - There is no other major program in the country whose Offense is as dependent on a single player as Auburn's is.

I wouldn't doubt this story for a second. Heisman voters will think twice about voting for another Reggie Bush type of situation.
