Is LSU one of those teams?

His WORST game was 154 yards with 2 TDs.
Unbelievable.
Tokyo game-
1986[1] Stanford 29 Arizona 24
1987[2] California 17 Wash. State 17
1988[3] Oklahoma State 45 Texas Tech 42
1989[4] Syracuse 24 Louisville 13
1990[5] Houston 62 Arizona State 45
1991[6] Clemson 33 Duke 21
1992[7] Nebraska 38 Kansas State 24
1993[8] Wisconsin 41 Michigan State 20
Unbelievable.
Tokyo game-

The Coca-Cola Classic was a NCAA college football game played using regular season scheduled games played in Tokyo, Japan. It was sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and named for the beverage Coca-Cola Classic manufactured by the company. The series was played from 1986 to 1993. Because the game is merely a re-location of a regular season game, it was not considered a traditional, post-season bowl game.

I've heard some of the talking heads on ESPN and talk radio saying how Cam isn't a very good passer. If there are any coaches on this board, explain to me what he needs to do to as to improving in this area. It looks to me sitting in the living room that most of his passes are spot on and he generally makes good decisions.
Not a coach but I did play QB some, most of what I know if from watching professionals analyze QBs. From what I see Cam tends to stand with his feet together sometimes and throws the ball with the flick of his wrist occasionally.

Obviously, Barry was pissed by his poor performance in the Missouri game.

He throws off his back foot as well.....that might be for our receivers' safety and well-being though. If Cam were to step into his passes.....well Chris Rainey put it best:

He has improved his passing light years though, he is very coachable and honestly I don't remember a QB getting progressively better and better like he has has from game to game.

could you imagine how many rushing yards he'd have if we let him run against ULM and UTC?

I put McFadden's last season as better than Tebow's. However, as much as I hate to say it, Cam Newton's season is better than that.
However overall, I'd have to give it to Barry Sanders. That season is just fricking phenomenal.

He really has. I was having this discussion with a Bama friend of mine before the IB. You look at Cam from Game 1(Arky St), to Game 4(USCe), to Game 9(Ole Miss), to Game 13(USCe Part Deux)......4 different phases of his development, each one being better than his previous. I don't think I've ever seen a player's on-the-field skills mature so fast with a margin so great.

I think from looking at just the physical act of throwing, Cam is more than ready to go pro. He's accurate, decent touch, and (obviously) arm strength is not a question. I think if scouts have any reservations (and they always do), it would be that AU's passing game is fairly simple compared to what he'll face in the pros. Not sure how good he'll be at reading NFL defenses, but we'll never know til he gets out there.
Personally, I think if they let "Cam be Cam", he'll be a good pro QB.

Yea I think so actually.

He's the best, it's really hard to make a strong case for anyone else at this point. From the first So Car game on he has been about as close to perfect as you can be. Like a grown man playing against school children really.

I never pull the race card but if anyone who has actually watched him play is still saying that it's because he's black and there is a stereotype there. It was something that early in the season looked like it may be an issue but his passing has been magnificent for the last 9-10 games or so.

RE: ESPN saying Cam's is not a good passer- I'll just assume, b/c I didn't see it, they were referring to his prospects as NFL QB and breaking down his technique. Which isn't very good by NFL QB standards. That's about the only argument you could make with regards to his passing ability, I too don't know how you could expect better results- the guy is just an awesome football player.
