Lots of LSU fans gonna be mad when they see minimal change to the offense. It's a good hire from a publicity standpoint though.

All we need is better QB development and a bit more unpredictability in the playcalling.

He's a good QB coach in his own right.

Averaged the #10 offense in the NFL at San Diego, #16 at Baltimore, average NFL OC, GIGANTIC upgrade from Stud. The guy can coach, is just controlling.

bad hire

Why? We have an actual offensive coordinator now, and he'll run a pro-style system. Has experience coaching Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers. Coached Baltimore to a 9-4 season before being fired.

The guy the Ravens fired?

I guess lol

After a game that their defense lost in double overtime. They were 9-4 and in first place trying to clinch their division. He and Harbaugh got into it and was fired shortly thereafter.

So now results as an NFL HC will determine how good a college O/C a guy would be? You serious?

Les will frick him up. He will pound J.Hill for a half then bench him for the remainder of games.

I doubt somebody with his resume' would agree to come here and be a puppet. I believe he will have control over the offense the way Chavis has control of the defense.

From what I've understood he was highly respected by the ravens and it was a tough decision to let him go. Apparently he and harbaugh got into it and it was the best thing for both parties. They continued to use his system after he left and it won a Super Bowl.

Yeah people act like he was abad OC, he got fired because of disagreement between him, other coaches, and specifically Flacco didn't like him.

This is a given with Cam. He can coach QB's.

How much of the offense is Miles willing to relinquish will determine the success as a unit.

The 2006 Chargers offense directed by Cameron is one of only 28 teams in NFL history to average 30-or-more points per contest. It is the 21st highest-scoring offense in NFL history, and 14th-highest over the last 25 years.

In his last 125 games as an NFL offensive coordinator, the teams Cameron was a part of in San Diego and Baltimore lost a total of only eight games by more than seven points.

What an absolute horrible hire. We should have kept what we had.

No, because he isn't a great developer of QBs and his offense is extremely vanilla.

Also not in response to you but those that said he got Drew Brees in the Pro Bowl, as an LSU and possible Saints fan I hope you understand that the only person that got Drew Brees in the Pro Bowl was Drew Brees.

I actually like Cameron, run heavy with deep play actions. I like his style.
