Do you realize no one is reading a novel over dots on a screen.

All that research for nothing. ?

This is due to the fact that reading is the average Tennursee fan's primary vulnerability.

But allow moi to simplify it for you:

quote:

Tennursee: $500 million.

Bama: $528 million

Between ND and OSU, the winner this year will again be a team that primarily built within and just paid to retain

Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard, 3 seasons (including last year) at Duke.

Ohio State QB Will Howard, 4 seasons at Kansas State, including last year.

Yeah, those are stable, healthy programs with their own established depth etc. But they both went out and "bought" a starting QB this year.

If NIL/transfer portal wasn't a crazy thing, OSU would have Ewers and McCord this year

Even without NIL, those QBs likely would have transferred to those schools anyways. They both had a pressing need at QB, Howard was pushed out of KSU and as a grad student would have been eligible to transfer immediately.

Likewise, Leonard could have probably got a hardship waiver for transferring given the injuries he sustained and his HC leaving.

every title since like 1950 has been bought in some way shape or form. stop being a delusional boomer with rose tinted glasses. every team has always paid people somehow.

It’s pretty sad that the two teams in the championship both ponied up a lot of money to purchase star starters off of other teams. That’s what the sport has become, who will spend the most.

What's wrong little buddy ?
Do you miss the days when only the SEC paid players ?
Not fair now that it is legal & everyone else has deeper pockets ?

I thought we were at a disadvantage before. Dark days are ahead for UK football I'm afraid.

I hate to tell you, but it’s been that way since they started putting college football on TV.

Doc's blind hypocrisy needed to be subtly pointed out.

I bet Saban would come coach at Texas now, because now I know why he wouldn't before...
