If they are both undefeated, I'd say UGA vs Texas is gonna draw an epic viewing audience.

Its gonna be way way up there for sure. Im gonna say either this game, UGA vs Texas, or Bucks vs michigan. Its gotta be one of those 3.

And Oregon/OSU should be huge as well.

No one gives a shite about that game outside of Texas.

Yes. Everyone obviously wants to watch a game where one team only throws 5 yard passes, while the other team doesn't have a QB.

Congrats, you just described every in-state rivalry in college football.

Both those teams are ranked higher than Texas in the coaches poll

If i wanted to watch boring football, I'd just turn on an Iowa game.

How could you have even entertained the idea that it would be the highest watched regular season game of all time?

Delusions of grandeur.

I don't even know what the parameters of the question are any longer. They've changed at least twice.

Anyway, sell.

Other games that same day. Most with times not set.

Viewership is also going to be heavily dependent on the records of both teams.

Michigan at Ohio State: FOX Big Noon

The Iron Bowl

Oklahoma at LSU

Florida at Florida State

Washington at Oregon

Notre Dame at USC

Plus some other minor rivalry games.

That is a lot of competition that will draw viewers away from Texas / aTm.

The question is, where will it be slotted? If ABC puts it into the 7 pm slot, then it might have a chance of being the most watched that day, but I doubt it.

Demonstrably false.

Check the broadcast ratings.

This one just doesn't have the juice. Sorry if that hurts your little Texan feelings.

I will guarantee that Texas vs A&M will draw a bigger audience than Florida/FSU

In my expert opinion, you have to have two national brands to have a chance at the record. With only one in that game, the national audience won't be captured to that level.
Subtle, yet top shelf :claps:

It all depends on the records of the teams involved.

Regardless, that is a long way from your original supposition that it would be the most watched college football game of all time.

Possibly so, but every single other rivalry game in that post will have more viewers than Texas-Texas A&M

Sell. It could be the biggest but there are a lot of big SEC games this year, Georgia-Alabama for example.
