No, he won't, and your record on predictions will drop to 0 for 134

He could also just pull and Eli Manning and refuse to play for the Texans.

A much more likely scenario.
However, if your dream is to be drafted, you’ll go where you’re drafted. That’s a dream you don’t pass up.

Not such a bad place to be if they hire a decent coach. Sean Payton should be considering them.

As long as McNair owns them, the Texans will be warmed over dog shite.

Why didn't you leave this on the Bama Board?

Bryce is gone, and it's time to move on to the Ty Simpson's
Era.

Well, consistency has to count for something, right?

According to Spotrac, Lawrence signed a four-year, 36,793,488 dollar contract with the Jaguars. Their deal includes a 24,118,900 dollar signing bonus, with 36,793,488 dollars guaranteed and an average annual salary of 9,198,372 dollars

24 million signing bonus + 9 million base salary = $33 million in the first year. The $36 million guaranteed is for the remainder of the contract.

Funny Joe Burrow went to Cincinnati and made it to the Super Bowl in year two.
Pains me a bit to say it, but Burrow might be the best NFL QB drafted since Brady.

NFL game is different. Bryce is a great college QB, but a lot of the scramble plays he makes won’t happen in the NFL. The defenses are just too fast. He’ll be a good NFL QB, but he needs a decent running game to aid him in the type of routes I think he’s best at. Houston doesn’t have it and won’t for some time.

This discussion is stupid but so are you.

That's not how NFL contracts work.

LINK /

$36 million is the total price of the contract which is fully. $24 million of that is an upfront signing bonus.

Lawrence's salary for the entire 4 years of the contract is the other $12 million.

His base salary in year one is league minimum ($660,000)

The link has a yearly cash breakdown to explain this to you.

Year 1 $24.7 million
Year 2 $2.3 million
Year 3 $4 million
Year 4 $5.6 million

There's is 0 chance Bryce will come back.

But one day if the system doesn't change you will see a guy play his senior year in college for $5-$10 million plus a $35-50 million insurance policy because he doesn't want to play a team in a situation like the Texans

It’s game over once he signs with an agent.

He could sit out because of NIL money, but I have to admit the fall out of NIL is fun watching. It’s truly a train wreck in the making for college football and soon the NFL.

You think he is going to risk his NFL future for one more year at Bama to avoid the Texans?? You already said it is the worst roster in the NFL over the past 10+years and there are not many good skilled players available to help.....so dont ASSUME the Texans wont be in the same situation next year....what is he gonna go back to Bama to avoid them a second time??

The Texans will take Stroud if Bryce isn’t available so yes coming back would prevent Bryce from ending up there next year. You’re an idiot.

That doesn’t mean as much anymore. The NFL rookie pay scale will only pay him about 8 million year one for the Texans and only guarantee him 24 million over the 4 years. Playing for the Texans could cost him a lot of endorsements money. Plus, the roster is one of the worst the NFL has seen in 10+ years.
How ironic that you don’t understand how this all works. The GOAL for every 1st round draft pick is get to the 2nd contract as fast as they can so they can maximize their years in the league.
