Nope, literally said, "shite happens." Can't win them all.

As long as he stays healthy, he'll be good. He is a gunslinger, he will throw a fair amount of picks, but he will also make some eye-popping throws and will put up a lot of yards and points.

You mean when you paid all your nfl prospects to come back for their senior year?

We will see when he starts getting SEC hits on that small body.

Isn't he shorter than Saban ?

I was really hoping he was going to be a step backwards... but he might end up being the best QB Bama’s had yet

Bryce Young being the clear QB1 in 2021 is about the only thing I’m sure about with the offense. Not sure about how it will look around him due to so many guys who will start or contribute being out for the Spring game or not on campus yet.

He’s not shorter than Saban. I feel like Young’s game is gonna be like Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray...the big hits on that small body don’t happen often because he’s elusive enough to just make defenders go for the sure tackle rather than get humiliated.

LSU will be fine at QB, too. From what I have seen, I'd go with Max. But Myles ain't a bad Plan B.

It has been nice in the last few years to move from where the QB position has been the governor on the offensive engine to where it's the supercharger.

He’s a talent for sure

But give me Bama’s absolutely disgustingly talented OL any day

Still a work in prgress. Couple of injuries and some ongoing position battles. Maybe once they get it settled and get some snaps and start to gel. But so far, defense is ahead of offense at the point of attack. Pressure is affecting Young too. He fumbled away a td, and nearly had a pick six which Saban was quick to point out.

That was me speaking as an LSU fan. We’ve done well with every position recruiting wise other than OL

They didn't have much of it out there at ADay and most of the focus was on the two freshman tackles, Latham and Brockermeyer. Quite frankly, those two got worked. Evan Neal is the big dog and he's moved to LT. But honestly he looked a little slow on that side. Ekiyor is good but he is out. Owens is nothing special at Center and they are looking for a guard to replace Deonte Brown, but it will be impossible because that guy was a 350 pound ninja turtle.

Good info

I was just looking at recruiting numbers

Very few true freshman OL play well. Can’t wait for 2022

It wasn't supposed to be one but kind of turned in to one because of the mountain of injuries.

It kinda feels weird, doesn't it?

I mean, in our case, Miles had a bigger retarding affect on our offense, and I mean that in every definition of the word.

Saban has never been too proud to make changes.

Unless Max has a bad spring and/or fall, I think they should go with him too. Brennan is a good backup. Max got that gamer trait in him.

True. He should sit out the 2021 season and have another spring session to improve.

Whoa now pump the brakes. I don’t care how great he looks in a spring game that does not mean a thing. All that matters is can he do it during the season when it counts against real defense that will pressure him and at times make contact. He has seen none of that this spring. All he has faced is base defense for the most part and has seen very little if any contact. During the times he played last year he was very average and under preformed in my book. I hope he shows out this season and puts up huge numbers but let’s just wait and see where he is at during the season before we give him to much praise.
