They're not selfish and scared?

Great news, and I'm not at all surprised those two would play.

Glad to see them suit up again, but I disagree with their decision. The Sugar Bowl is meaningless.

Good. I would like to see Kansas State pummeled in the Sugar Bowl.

Saban also noted that Alabama “minimized the risk of them playing in the game by insuring them the best we possibly can.” Schools can take out insurance policies in the event of major injuries impacting players’ future earnings in the NFL.

I have a lot of respect for them. The uniform and pageantry means something to them. Unlike fournette.

I think its cool that they are playing but as an Alabama fan would you not almost want to use the opportunity to get your younger QBs some real game experience against a quality opponent? Or is the thought that your starting QB for next year isn't currently on the roster?

The thought is you play to win the game. Period.

Thanks! I'm pretty good at stating the obvious.

Aw how sweet, the overrated puss that disappeared for the season (G5 Willy) and the QB that pisses himself when it matters the most are playing!

CoOoOoL

Fact: 2022 LSU ended the CFP hopes of Nick Sabah, Bryce Young, and G5 Willy.

I was very happy to see LeVeon Bell fall flat on his face when he got to the Jets. He sat out the entire last season of his rookie contract so he could get to free agency. He got his bag and sucked so bad the Jets cut him a year later.

I was concerned he would be a trendsetter.

“These two guys are great competitors,” Saban said. “That’s why they wanted to play. They want to try to continue to create value for themselves, be good teammates and help their teammates play well in the game. That makes them old fashioned in a lot of ways, but I sort of respect that.”

Saban is lying to those poor kids. They aren’t creating value for themselves playing against Kansas State in the bowl game. Scouts have seen them both play plenty enough games to know where they have them slotted.

I would have liked to see Bama use this as a practice game going into next year but it’s also good to see guys wanting to play in a bowl game that means nothing.
