ON3 : Young and Anderson to play

Wouldn't have held it against either one iota if they hadn't, but this certainly makes me appreciate their love for the University and program more.

No opt outs expected for Alabama.

This is good to see. It won't reverse the trend, but still good to see.

Now that is leadership. Good on Saban to bring out the check book

Saban making them drive that charger to and from New Orleans
Wonder if Bama will try and claim a piece of the title with a win

I would have been surprised and disappointed if they didn't. If healthy compete with your guys.

Especially, if you're a team captain which I'm positive both are.

I think its cool that they are playing but as an Alabama fan would you not almost want to use the opportunity to get your younger QBs some real game experience against a quality opponent? Or is the thought that your starting QB for next year isn't currently on the roster?

I was fine with kids playing but I think having your leaders make a choice to stick around like this is probably as or more important.

There will be plenty of time to see Simpson (and we've seen Milroe).

Shaping up to be a really good game. FWIW, I still liked Alabama's chances before knowing these two would play.

While I admire their decision, I wonder why they are taking such a risk.

Great to see in this ridiculous era of opt outs.

Only explanation is that Saban told them it was his last game.

I'm sure they'll discuss it at their first press availability. I think I know why, but wouldn't want to put words in their mouth.
