Yes. Both the $280 Douglas fir Christmas tree you can see in the reflection and the $27/lb boutique coffee he’s drinking were paid for straight out of his Auburn direct deposit checking account. Isn’t it weird how this supposed hard arse football guy is just sitting at home? Most coaches line something up quickly after they lose their jobs. I don’t think his buyout has offset language in it so it’s not like it makes any difference to Auburn.
Seems like Harsin didn’t really like coaching all that much anyways, surely he could’ve gotten some off the field role with Boise at a minimum. Even Dubose went and coached high school football after similar circumstances (cheating scandal and sucking as a coach). Certainly makes Auburn/Alan Greene look worse for hiring someone this lazy.
