So he stays true to his policy and is not swayed by the pressure of the media? Cool

So this is about the University's mandate then. Is this protocol tits on a bull or do they take it as seriously as Oregon State?
Might be my follow-up question.
You bet your arse AU is taking it seriously. Its a federally mandated policy for any federal govt employee or contractor. AU received millions every year from the federal govt

Harsin could ask for a religious exemption. There’s no way anyone at Auburn would deny it.

Yes, they are putting people in concentration camps just like the nazis for not getting the vaccine.

good article on Nick Rolovich's firing from Washington State
I mean, sure, good article. Except for the fact that the moron who wrote it thinks the coach is to blame.

We examine the trickle-down effect of Rolovich’s decision and who’s impacted by the termination of WSU’s 33rd football coach.
Just pure nonsense. This was a decisions made by the school, not the coach.

This won’t really be an issue at Bama or Auburn until next year at the earliest.
The email my wife received says they need to be considered fully vaccinated by December 8th. To be considered fully vaccinated means 2 weeks after the 2nd shot. To get the shots within the required timeline depending on the vaccine means they need to get their first shot in the next week or two. No putting the decision off until next year.

So Harsin is a federal employee now?

How does the state of Alabama not have a law on the books yet that blocks public institutions from requiring shots.
The state legislature there has failed its constituents. If the law existed, the schools would be forced to either break state law or a federal, may not even be legal, executive mandate, which isn't even a law.
Many other states already have these laws to prevent just such an event.

Even though they can it wouldn't protect the federal grants given to the schools research and development, or federal contracts.

Does it really matter if the university system gets less money to fund Marxist professors to poison the minds of kids?
Posted on 10/25/21 at 3:58 pm to Jack Ruby
I don't know why you are pushing at Rocky on this. But the reality is federal funding is huge for universities in every state.
Lose it and other states will gladly take the funding.

How about you look into Australias Covid prisons. You idiots supporting this will eventually learn the hard way.

No, I do not care to fund such work.

For all we know Harsin is already vaccinated and just doesn't want people in his business, unlikely but still possible.
The above doesn't apply to him however. Since he had it in mid August he has to wait 90 days to get vaccinated per the CDC, which puts his deadline at mid to late November.
