OKlahoma played no one and won big .... they fixed some things but still feel the secondary leaves people open to much and the OL isnt great at run blocking.
Highly impressed with our wrs and QB play. Lots of people are getitng to play so we will see who desevres to play more.

So tell us what will happen Saturday. Which scenario will take place?

1. Tulane shocks the world by beating Ole Miss 42-35 in Oxford, proving that they were much better than everyone thought and validating Oklahoma's 5 point win.

OR

2. Ole Miss beats them 63-0 proving that Oklahoma has no defense and is undeserving of their ranking.

We did what was necessary and got some playing time for some freshmen.

Our defense played solid football but I am still worried about out LB play.

We have tons of talent at the skill positions on offense but our Oline is beyond awful. With that it is hard to have a good offense

We do have great special teams

Emory is not a very good QB and BAMA will pressure him the whole game he may throw 4 pics.

Our defense has not look much better then last year either I think the front seven will be ok as the season goes along but other than ELAM our secondary is putrid and that is being nice.

Played a turd who needed the money. Nothing to take from a game like that.

That's my game summary in its entirety.

QB play is not good (2 turnovers within our own 20 and 5 killed us)

DB play is soft (way too much cushion and the middle of the field is wide open)

Special teams play is the only bright spot (Paxton Brooks punt absolutely dying at the 1 yard line, and a blocked punt to set up our first score were the highlights of the game)

QB play is weak...I know I started with that...but it is so bad it needed to be said twice

MSU had one drive where the offense was perfect. We could be a fun team if we see that more often.

It will be interesting to see how the D holds up against Memphis. They are averaging 633 yds per game with a pretty equal run/pass mix.

This game is a trap game with conference play starting the next week.

Pleased with QB play. OL still a work in progress. WR's honestly disappointing so far. RB should be alright but the offense overall has a ways to go.

Defensively the team when healthy is as good as anyone. they might keep us in games until the O can gel but a consistent RT must be found and some WR's have to come on.

Yesterdays game was a glorified scrimmage. They played 3 QB's 4 RB's 8 different players caught passes more receivers played and Saban said a lot of people got to see action on both sides of the ball.
I'm really not a fan of FCS games, but coaches generally are. I'll be stunned if Alabama doesn't come out smoking this Saturday. The only thing that I'm a little concerned about is our 2nd half play. The guys not on top of the depth chart need to step up and show off!

Stetson Bennett is a good backup to have who can step in and keep the team afloat for a short time if necessary.

Front seven is still salty.

The opponent was only UAB so there wasn't a lot to be learned other than to thank the good people in Vegas for gifting us a laughably low point spread (UGA -23.5).

Offense wasn't the problem, other than the turnovers that is. The soft arse marshmallow defense was. At some point Brad White is going to have to play press coverage on those short passes. You risk getting burned but dang 5-7 yards a pass play marches it down the field and wears out your defense. That is why you have safeties. Also why didn't we spy on their back with Davonte Robinson a speed burner instead of trying to cover with a MLB?

Our defense is crazy good, but our offense is suspect even after the showing this weekend. It's hard to see just how good JT Daniels is especially with this injury. Brock Bowers looks to be a great addition. Our run game should be better, but our OL doesn't seem to be getting the push it needs. I think our kicker could cost us a game if he doesn't get his head on straight.

No fricking clue how good Auburn is.

We may skullfrick Penn state and beat them 38-17 or we may get another bo nix road game special and lose this one 30-10.

Neither result would surprise me.
