Bama is improving, got a big game against Ole Miss.

I'm thinking by end of year, barring disastrous injury, Bama is gonna be right there as one of the best teams in the country and in good position to win another title.

I’ve never seen a team commit more penalties and turnovers at such crucial stages of the game as this one. Constantly shooting ourselves in the foot once we gain a little momentum. We need a QB who can sling it, Rogers is too indecisive.

I feel like we have everything but a O line and it is really bad

VOL here:

I have been pleasantly surprised with Heupel. The design of the offense appears to be good, but we simply don't have a good QB who can deliver the ball to receivers who are very often open. The receivers aren't good either, but getting the ball within ten feet of them is sort of pre-requisite to being able to make a play on it.

Our defense is okay but lacks depth.

Imagine lying about that. Yes, we mercy kneed'd our lil bro and his son, our nephew (that's you, aggot).

Not lying. Not all knees are mercy knees IMO.

Y'all had an easy TD teed up at the end of the Texas game. Could have put up another 7 without breaking a sweat. Took knee instead. That's a mercy knee. Your coaches and players all knew you cold rack up another easy TD and there was basically no chance UT could stop it, and they purposely chose not to. That's the mercy part.

Taking a knee in mid-field in a 10 point game to end it because your opponent is out of options is just ending the game and avoiding injury risk. No easy points left on the table means it's not a "mercy" knee. Just my opinion on the difference.

When USM went to a floating 8-9 man box, oooh.....wee....! Touchdown Bama! The long pass is back.

We are consistent.

Consistently bad upfront on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

If you have backup offensive linemen who want a starting position, the transfer portal is available. I doubt there is a single backup offensive linemen on scholarship in the SEC who could not transfer to Auburn and be a full time starter day 1.

Linebackers can play but don’t really understand the position…

Emory was 21-27 for 2 TD’s. Weird takeaway

He looks like one at times, but you're right. Just no consistency.

Amazing fact.

On that 90 TD drive vs. Bama, he gave Bama the first two downs with lousy throws that could've went for first downs, or at the very least put you in short yardage situations. Instead he converts a 3rd and ten and you're off to the races.

As I said in an earlier post, even in the first half the plays were there to convert, but his throws were off. That's why I didn't really buy into Saban's loss of intensity stuff. That game ebbed and flowed based on Jones' play.

Our offense is a shite show. I bought into the hype after week one and the points we put up in week 2. I thought that the transfers were bonding well and the team was transitioning to our new offense without the growing pains... Oh boy was I wrong. What I don't understand is that Rodriguez had sure hands last year with security, I don't understand where these ball security issues came from. If we can't figure it out, October is going to be like a Kentucky blast from the past in a baaaaaad way
