Not wrong, but the pattern the last couple years has been a rough start to the season, with poor oline play, and inconsistent WRs, but those issues got cleaned up by week 3 or 4, and the team started to roll.

I don't know what's different this year. If the players just aren't buying in, or the injuries have thrown a wrench in the works, but for whatever reason there's just no improvement from week to week. And it's going to make for a long season if that doesn't change in a big way and soon.

Not to take away from Arky's win. Y'all had our number in every facet of the game. Our defense saved us from the humiliation of the mercy knee like Y'all did to Texas. But otherwise we just had no answer for yall.

Defensive front 7 is carrying this team. We still not great at corners but we have starters out and it showed on most slant play. We gave up 223 yards on a team with a avergae to below average offense. I worry when we play a great qb he will pick up apart on slants and comeback routes. THe good thing is OU has adjusted pretty well on defense and taken issues in 1st quarter and slowed them down. I couldnt be happier with our defense to be honest we are just light depth at corner and safety pos.


Offensively we are retracing..... which isnt good yes WV had the number 1 defense last year and probably top 5 this year but we still cant run the ball on anyone. We have tried to play to many OL and I hope the coaches stick with a unit and let them see what they can do together. I dont agree on this contant play 10 guys on the OL crap. OU is trying to rotate tons of guys in to get everyone involved which creates more depth. It only works if you actually need those guys later down the line. They are promoting competing each week in practice and even All-American type of players recieve at most 75 percent of snaps. Well see if this pays off. Rattler isnt mobile and if a team blitzes us alot we could be in trouble. Hes a good thrower but has no where to throw the ball imo. We will be fine as long as we keep winning. Rileys offense hasnt been this bad ever and he keeps saying we are almsot there and I never made him out to be a liar. I dont think Caleb Williams will go in unless Rattler throws more than 2 ints in a game. I think Caleb would open thigns up with his legs and even if hes not the passer Rattler is hes not that far off. I could see OU losing 2-3 game or winning out and then losing to a team with a good offense in playoffs. I am impressed with how they just keep winning.

Can't pass well, can't catch well can't defend well turned over the ball and even the kicking game misfired.

Poor play, poor coaching and poor development.

We look good but like the two posters I seem say....our secondary is a liability
