6-6. That's explains it best - and brutally.

For your sake, you may want to pump the brakes there.

He looked good in his first action for LSU last year too. And we werent playing Georgia St.

The phisical skills are there, its the mental ones that he struggles with.

2 Punts (1 in garbage & 1st series of 2020)
2 Int
5.8 Points Per Drive

2021 vs Texas Tech
9 Drives
8 Touchdowns
1 Int
6.2 PPD

2021 vs Rice

Those are the only 2 starts in his career.

This really is the year for y'all. You can catch Bama slipping and win it all.

Offense-better than I hoped for the last 7 Qtrs. Jones seems to play to the level of competition. Actually seeing the field better and is getting rid of the ball quicker. Receivers are helping by getting open and making catches they should. Sometimes even great catch. Backs are running hard and smart, all three contributing something different. If Mullen doesn’t get cute he will have a really good offense. Defense-Grantham has not cost us a game. Take away 21 quick points from Bama and the defense has played well enough for the offense to win the game. Wish they could string some three and outs together but it’s not called 3rd and Grantham for nothing. AND we actually found a guy who cad kick extra points. Added a 47 yarder too, had to clean my glasses and watch again just to be sure.

So I think we can be really good, be in every game with chance of winning, should be favored in most. At any rate, for me this fun so far.

We are terrible in just about every area but special teams. That's it.

VOLs-

Not ready for prime time. Too thin and too inexperienced in this system. Vols have a coach it seems.

We make way too many little mistakes. We have been INCREDIBLY lucky with turnovers. We have fallen on our fumbles and thrown a ton of suspect passes that we were lucky fell harmlessly to the turf. We commit lots of stupid penalties.

If KJ, Burks or G. Morgan get hurt we are fricked.

Is this supposed to insinuate that LSU is better than Auburn?

Thompson and Robinson give Texas the best backfield in the league. We beat Arkansas had Thompson started.

Defense is a work in progress but it will get there.

The things that have bedeviled us through the season continue to do so. To whit we get some dumb penalties that we need to cut down on. While our offense is shakin' and bakin' Briles is still prone to getting cutesy when he doesn't need to and it often blows up in our faces.

The big concern is the one thing we can't do anything about this season. If a key player goes down with an injury we are in trouble. I think Hornsby has a lot of upside but he's not ready to be the full game QB as an example.

Well, there are reasons why Calzada wasn't the starter coming out of the summer and H. King was.

Let everyone else lose their qb1 after week 1 and see how it goes for them.

I don't think we've really been tested and have gotten away with being sloppy and injured at times so far. We don't have that leisure with Georgia. I am very happy to get into the meat of the schedule after the rent a win section is finally over.
