I'm going to have to ask you to show your work on that one.

I can't imagine this one ever being broken. The others at least there is a chance, but this is just insane. Wish I would've gotten to see this guy.

SEC team with the most College World Series Championships (LSU)

Most TD's and passing yards in a single SEC season- Joe Burrow (LSU)

Really don't care about any of these stats.

Only SEC team to win 11 SEC Football games in a season- Alabama

Only SEC football team to win an SEC title in every decade since it started- Alabama (and I do not think any other SEC team can say that in any other sport)

Only SEC football team to win a NC every decade since 1920, with the exception on the 50's and 80's- Alabama

Only SEC football team to have a winning record over every other other SEC team- Alabama

Only SEC team that has won double digit National Titles in the three big sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball)-
Alabama

Fun to watch and a great player That being said he averaged 38 shots a game and shot 43 percent. Dare say many players could have averaged 44 without regard to number of shots or shooting percentage.

I once worked for a guy that played Pistol Pete in HS. Remember him saying, " I once single-handedly held Pistol to 32 points...in a half. 2nd half our coach decided to double team him and he scored 28. We still won the game by 2 points. Pistol was the entire team."

My dad still says the 106-104 Alabama/LSU game in Tuscaloosa when Pistol score 69 pts is one of the 2-3 greatest sporting events he's ever been to.

He basically spent his summers watching the Pistol dribbling drill videos. Still just randomly wanders around doing dribbling displays at 60.

Plus the number of shot attempts he took to get there.

How far back out of the recorded history you have to go to find a Bama baseball NC? NC's only go back to 1947 that I can find. I didn't check basketball but I think if you go back to the 1700's you may find a way to claim one of those to.

Remember him from when I was a kid.
I would argue he is the best pure shooter to ever play the college game.
Add his ball handling skill and he is easily top 3 all around GOAT.
Note, I am not equating this to his NBA career, whereby his own admission, he had slipped due to his drinking.

Competition different, sure. But pace? There was no shot clock. He would have scored even more with today’s shot clock. Other teams back then often just tried to hold on to the ball to keep it out of his hands.
