I'm just glad that LSU replaced YawYaw with another proud southern man with a deep rooted accent

Discussions about his personality meshing well in the south was discussed but that was a legitimate discussion.

I mean it really wasn't

If he wins, it works.

If he doesn't, it won't.

His personality has no bearing on anything, is Brian Kelly's personality that much different than Saban's?

I had a long conversation with DawginSC about this less than 2 months ago.

Who cares what the SEC says they know deep down he’s about to take over college football! Just sit back and enjoy the run

They have both coached at LSU.

I'm surprised that you think their personalities are similar.

Well both have been the head coach for my school. Who do you think is better qualified to make that assessment, me or a Georgia fan?

What are the major differences?

5 downvotes.

Some programs only dream of winning championships with a Midwest mongoloid grass eater and a shrimp boat captain that barely speaks English.

Fair enough.

I think it is laughable to say that they have the same personality.
I'd be curious to see what Bama fans think as I would trust their opinion over LSUs (you don't think you are too close to be impartial? I mean... Saban vs Kelly).

Are you arguing that 2 very successful college football head coaches do not have similar character traits?

There are a lot of similarities

I’m honestly not sure what you’re saying here. More clear please?

Your screenshot shows only 25 players, but 247 shows 36.

Well for one... Saban is considered to be miserable to work for.
Saban is considered to care more about his process than life and liberty itself. That is in reference to media and fan obligations.

Kelly picks up a fake accent to fit in.
Grinds on kids in creepy recruiting videos.
He is a try-hard. But he is so out of touch, it is a massive fail in my eyes.

Saban will say and do anything to further his program. And that makes him a hypocrite. But he isn't fake. You know right away where he stands in that moment and right away where you stand in his priorities of the day.

No one said they have the "same personality."

I simply asked if their personalities were all that different.

People will immediately dismiss it but I doubt we see anyone who can actually point out any major differences.

Are you being serious right now?

In that scenario, Alabama fans are just as close to the situation as LSU fans are.
