I sure hope he can fight...he fricking sucks as a coach

He puts up topnotch defenses at Vandy with players that LSU would cut from the team without bothering with a team meeting. James Franklin was better when he was here, but that isn't remotely the same as Coach Mason sucking. He's fielding teams with excellent fundamentals because he sure as hell isn't going to get the talent that other SEC teams can get just by waving a recruit over for a conversation. That's part of the definition of a good coach -- he does the best with what he has available.

LOL

He has a winning percentage of about .300

THAT is the definition of a BAD coach. Thank God you arent an AD somewhere. The guy before him was around .600.

And yet you think you have a sound arguement? My Lord you're less than smart

Mason was made to coach SEC football and I'm glad we have him.

I actually explained my logic. I took care not to use big words or complicated concepts. If you couldn't follow it, that's really, really not my problem. I actually watch football. If a team is badly coached, a real football fan can tell. Unfortunately, you obviously can't make that distinction, so perhaps it's best if you go talk soccer or something.

If Mel gets a head job I'd be happy if Kirby hired Mason at DC.

Derrick Mason maybe the most likable coach in the conference. He don’t take no crap and he seems to be a players coaching dancing on the sideline after wins .

I think this was Brian Kelly's way of getting out of paying us back with a home game.

Yankees gonna Yankee, they fear the Dores in Nashville

Michigan played Vanderbilt 11 times || 8 in Ann Arbor, 3 in Nashville
Ohio State played Vanderbilt 4 times || 3 in Columbus, 1 in Nashville
Northwestern played Vanderbilt 4 times || 3 in Illinois, 1 in Nashville
Missouri played Vanderbilt 4 times || 3 in Missouri, 1 in Nashville (pre SEC)
Notre Dame played Vanderbilt 3 times || 2 in South Bend, 1 in Nashville
Penn State played Vanderbilt once || 1 in Pennsylvania, no return in Nashville

At least Kansas, Indiana, and Purdue have done equal home & home

Kentucky, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Vandy and Mizzou would not beat ND. That’s half of the conference. So no... most would not beat ND

Try this...

The coach before him averaged 2 X's the amount of wins per year. At the exact same school.

Spare.mw your "hes a good coach" BS

Hes a failure there, period
