Brent Zwerneman, who originally broke the news regarding the Longhorns and Sooners flirting with the SEC, was told on Saturday that there's "zero chance" Texas A&M will attempt to find a home elsewhere.

At some point they may but doing it right now would be too costly. Now if say the Big 10 starts exploring some kind of southern expansion I’m sure they would listen and I don’t blame them.

A&M isn’t going anywhere, the SEC is a perfect fit, always has been, our irrelevant little brother riding Oklahoma’s coattails into the sec does not change anything

This is what Ross Bjork should have said from the beginning instead of crying about hurt feelings. It was truly aTm's best opportunity in a generation to not look like a little brother for once.....and they blew it.

I don’t know about that, I believe the sources that are saying that at some point A&M officials at some level were informed of the discussions. Remember very few members of the SEC knew this was going on as well, or at least at the levels that it was happening at.
Does it really matter in the end though? SEC members weren’t exactly thrilled about expanding to 14, this is going to screw up everybody’s traditions and scheduling 10 times worse, but it’s going to be what it’s going to be,Time to play the games

We all knew that A&M was going to cry a lot about this but they are getting ridiculous about it. Any other fan base would be totally embarrassed if their school was doing this.
This is the equivalent to little brother getting away from big brother and finding a new place to play with new with new friends. Big brother gets bored and joins the game and little brother tells everybody he’s not playing anymore as he stomps his feet walking away.

When did SEC teams start helping each other? We hate each other. But we keep our internal discord private and settle it publicly on the field while collectively promoting the league as a whole. You would be wise to join that line of thinking before you end up like Georgia Tech.
