The piss and miss saved his job, but it shouldn't have. Now who are they going to get this late? Should have pulled the trigger earlier.

Oh boy. MSU boosters are looking for “one of them”.

“Hard-working, blue-collar football” hasn’t won MSU shite.

Hahaha sure coaches will be lined up to jump at that job that can get you fired after two seasons. State is following the Arkansas model apparently.

Wow. I thought they would let him find another job so they wouldn't be on the hook for the buyout. I didn't see this one coming this late.

Better hope they can pull Napier or they'll be stuck with an interim for a season.

There can't be a coaching search at this point. They have to have another guy already lined up, or this wouldn't have happened

Well, we better have a good back-up plan. But this being Mississippi State, I'm sure we're about to frick this up.

Not entirely. Moorhead's limp dick performance in the bowl game and player fight sealed his fate.

Yes and No.

The Egg Bowl didn't decide anything, but it was VERY symbolic.

Action and attitude are what got JoMo canned, more than W/L records. State Football had become a circus with no ring leader and something had to change.

Exactly. Unless they already have an amazing coach lined up, this is the dumbest firing ever. They're fricking Mississippi State. What makes them think firing a coach after 2 years is smart? They're absolutely delusional.
