Read the injunction. The NCAA and SEC are prohibited from punishing the players or the school. STTDB!

The suit I told you was coming yesterday you little bitch?

It was pretty easy to predict.

I was surprised how weak of a suit it actually was. I expected more honestly.

This is why the SEC sued you fricking retards in federal court. In Alabama.

Simmer down libtard. We aren't done. You can blame this on the Chambliss case. We all saw that the NCAA/SEC was filled with powerless pussies that wouldn't do the right thing.

How in the world can LSU violate the SEC's right to freedom of speech?

Okay, and what's your opinion on how that plays out?

We’ll see. I know nothing about the judge over the case in AL. These lawsuits are so far beyond “the law” there’s no telling what happens. But I just believe that would be LSU’s next logical step given the timing of the SEC’s lawsuit and the injunction in place when it was filed and the jurisdictional issues. I do think the SEC’s lawsuit is pretty weak considering LSU wasn’t a party to the BR lawsuit nor had they rostered any players who were parties. But we’ll see. If I’m LSU I probably still don’t roster any of the players until they have more clarity on the posture of the federal case. Personally, I don’t know if they’ll ever play and maybe this just accelerated things to a place where order can maybe be restored.

And LSU will send a Rule 11 notice to the SEC under the FRCP

I always trust your opinion on these things. The AG right about the SEC suit being garbage or she just posturing for the next fight?

The AG is 100% correct.

Jurisdictional issues:

There's a significant standing question because the SEC is not a "person" for the purposes of the suit.

LSU and the BOS are state entities which cannot be sued in federal court (and certainly not a federal court in Alabama).

Question of personal jurisdiction over the individual defendants.

Also, issues of federal abstension and the Anti-Injunction Act.

SEC will have 21 days to withdraw/dismiss and when they don't, they will be open to Rule 11 sanctions.

Someone check on that locked on Ole Miss host. He's probably teetering on the edge right now. This is all he's got going on in his life.

Thank you. I heard the interview on the way home and didn't want to buy too much of what she was selling. It was over my head and she obviously has her own agenda.

This whole thing is an absolute shite show - I’m an lsu fan, and honestly don’t like all this attention, but that’s just me-

But besides all of that - like someone else pointed out - just like with nil and ncaa- ncaa had a chance to get out in front, maybe lay some ground work - say yeah let’s admit it - lot of $$$ generated by these kids- prob time to do something - but no, went the route of the courts - and here we are.

Now conferences are following same blueprint. Do I agree we should allow nfl players back to college ranks - no, but at same time - how the hell do you not say what they are doing now is not “professional”? Like old days of smu - and Erik Dickerson saying he took a pay cut to go to nfl

Guess I’m too damn dumb to understand - but why are we now 6 years down the road of this era of college ball and still no organization? I get it - money, tv and all of that - but at this rate the whole damn thing might blow up.

This is what I want to keep driving home. For me, today was all about Sankey embarrassing himself on the stand.
