ESPN selected and ranked the Top 25 games of 2013 and will let the fans decide the order of the Top 5 via a SportsNation poll. Those five games are listed below:

Auburn-Alabama
Florida State-Auburn
Ohio State-Michigan
Texas A&M-Duke
Auburn-Georgia

LINK

The SEC in the conference that has the most games involving at least one their teams at 10.

SEC - 10
Big10 - 6 (8 if you count Rutgers)
Pac12 - 5
ACC - 3 (4 if you count Louisville)
MWC - 3
AAC - 3 (remains 3 if Rutgers is out/Navy in)
Independents - 2 (Navy in both, ND in 1)
Big 12 - 1
MAC/Sun Belt/CUSA - 0

Of the SEC's 10, 8 were conference match ups and 2 were bowls.

The Big 10 had 3 conference match ups (one being BTN title game), 2 bowls, and 1 OOC.

Pac 12 had 2 conference, 2 bowls, and 1 OOC.

All 3 of the ACC were bowls.

MWC had 2 OOC and 1 bowl.

AAC was 2 conference and 1 OOC but the two conference games would now both be OOC.

Notre Dame's only top 25 game was vs a future AAC opponent.

The Big 12's only game was a conference match up.

Surprised Auburn vs. A&M is at 17th. That game was a load of fun to watch.

EDIT: Also UGA vs. LSU at 20th?

So basically according to ESPN, high scoring = good game

I watched that Rutgers-SMU game and it was garbage. A rain soaked 3 overtime affair. Neither team was that good.

Surprised Clemson/Georgia didn't make the list.

And Mizzou/USC shouldn't be that high. A lot of mistakes on both sides of the ball and really we should have never gone to OT with them, we just played a really bad game.

Yeah that must be why the list has an ole miss game higher than an LSU game.

So this is just a list of close games with lots of points scored. I would not call them the best games.

Why do people and ESPN think two teams must score 70+ point to play a good game?

Seriously. I know that game decided the east but I think that game could switch with LSU-UGA and no one would bat an eye. I don't know how the LSU-UGA game is ranked lower than the UT-UGA game. I was at both, and even though the Tennessee game went to overtime, I don't think anyone thought that was a better played game. Both were definitely exciting though. Auburn-Alabama will easily be number one. Thankfully that game makes ESPN show the prayer at Jordan-Hare less.

UGA-LSU way too low. That game had storyline, NFL talent and late drama.

Looks like UGA has two, and in running for a 3rd, on the top 20.

More reason for a UGA Network.

Crying because you lost and nobody cares. Even nicer.

At least Auburn got your team noticed and on the highlights reel.
