I just took a look at the latest "so called" experts field of 68 predictions and of the seven or so brackets I looked at, only 1 had LSU making the field. WTH??? One bracket even listed Ole Miss as making the tourny and one listed Georgia as a bubble team (SMDH!) I think that if we can beat Tennessee and win out in the process then thats a 7 game win streak with wins over Marquette, Miss State, Arkansas and I reluctantly add Bama because they weren't at full strength but again, they brought that on themselves lol I'll also add Ole Miss since someone had them making the tourny and our RPI is higher than Mississippi's. I believe it was the Wash Post that did that. Our RPI is currently #61 so I'm thinking we should finish somewhere in the 50's. If the selection committee is looking at the full body of work, there are at least 7 teams currently rated higher who doesn't have the strength of schedule nor the wins against top 50 teams that we have. I saw we get in with a SECT win.

you are probably looking at a bracket from 2004. seriously. none of these teams are in the tournament.

1 too many!

Your recent streak of wins is not that impressive. You beat bama at your place without their starters. The win over State now does not look very impressive (OT win at that). You beat a division III bad South Carolina Team and then a just as bad Georgia team. And the rest of your schedule is just as laughable.

You aren't getting in unless you win the Sec Tourney.

The only way LSU gets into the tournament is by winning the SEC tournament.

Good Luck

Probably aren't going to beat Tennessee anyway so I'd quit worrying.
