Don't think that public schools aren't recruiting too. It's rampant and people who don't see it are burying their heads in the sand. The LHSAA don't have the resources to police it are perhaps in the case of certain schools don't care to.
Yes he looked highly pissed and I bet they try to make a statement against OSU. Maybe I'm an outlier but I'm not so impressed with Ohio State this year. Their D has gotten props but when looking at their schedule they gave up 21 to Rutgers who loss 0-30 to Iowa, 0-52 to Mich, 7-48 to Maryland and 0-35 to Indiana. They have up 21 to a team with Zero Offense. They gave up 21 to Florida Atlantic which lost 14-48 the next week to UCF. We were criticized for giving up points to highly ranked teams. Also we've been resting Burreaux in blowouts and it looks like the OSU backups didn't see much action and they ran up the score on teams.
I think we can, I think we can......
I had slim hopes for the program...then soon after reality sunk in. Then the next game and final game I just kept getting reminded of how wishful my thinking was. Strike up the violins for Trent :violin:
I had similar hopes for the Tiggers then they played like crap against Ole Miss. No shot at the NCAA tourny unless they win the SEC tournament. Ainta gonna happen! LSU will make the NIT field.

Wins over Marquette, Miss State, ALABAMA....don't blame us cause your guys got themselves suspended lol RPI of 61 and will be higher with three more wins and finishing the year 20-10. State your case....

Bracketology???

I just took a look at the latest "so called" experts field of 68 predictions and of the seven or so brackets I looked at, only 1 had LSU making the field. WTH??? One bracket even listed Ole Miss as making the tourny and one listed Georgia as a bubble team (SMDH!) I think that if we can beat Tennessee and win out in the process then thats a 7 game win streak with wins over Marquette, Miss State, Arkansas and I reluctantly add Bama because they weren't at full strength but again, they brought that on themselves lol I'll also add Ole Miss since someone had them making the tourny and our RPI is higher than Mississippi's. I believe it was the Wash Post that did that. Our RPI is currently #61 so I'm thinking we should finish somewhere in the 50's. If the selection committee is looking at the full body of work, there are at least 7 teams currently rated higher who doesn't have the strength of schedule nor the wins against top 50 teams that we have. I saw we get in with a SECT win.

Tigerbite76, I've watched Javan play for a few years now and here's some info for you that many aren't aware of. In that game against Salmen, Felix played a few hours after burrying his grandmom. He was oviously not mentally into that game and the team imho fed off of that. A competitor will always try to ply their trade however it's up to the coach to make the decision on if a kid should play and at what point should a change be made. Felix is everything he's advertised to be and keep in mind he's receiving props from National Recruiting outlets because he's being observed against the top kids from around the Country. Also, he wasn't the 5A mvp for no reason. Trent missed out on two big fish in the state which doesn't bode well for him. By the way, I was impressed with Price in that game also.
