And there it is- if only UGA wasn't 100% healthy....which we weren't!

And if not for several blown calls and an injury to our WR1 Kirby woulda already had that championship in 2017. I was told then injuries and bad calls were part of the game??

We lost a first round pick midseason last year and lost what was projected to be our highest draft pick before the season started the year before and still won. Amazing how when you win it all, it's assumed you had no injury issues.

We played the majority of both seasons without our no. 1 WR.

Our top QB got hurt and we played with a guy that they continually make fun of on here as not being very good, despite him proving them wrong over and over again.

Crazy.

And then there was Brian Kelly who is the better coach so who wins?

I haven't been on here long, but I have to say that this is the most pathetic, butthurt, idiotic post I've seen.
Gees kid, to throw up a bunch of tragic deaths just because you got your pacifier-sucking feelings hurt because UGA mopped the floor with your football is low, even for a Vol fan.

Kirby is built different. And he will surpass Saban as the GOAT eventually

UGA in position to dominate next decade and Smart is young enough to get close to Saban status by the time he's done

I think Kirby will retire within the next 5 years or so. College football coaches have insane schedules now and he seems to be going 110% nonstop. He has already made enough money to take care of the next 3 generations of Smarts at least.

You may be right. On the other hand (and as Huge Richard points out), Kirby is wired differently. If he's sitting at 4 NC's I could see him wanting to make a run at GOAT status.

I remember when Bama celebrated national titles while uga got the consolation prize.

I mean, Bama blew out UGA en route to their 2020 national title as well.

He's basically on call 24/7 and the players are getting more difficult to deal with every year. He might love it now, but burnout is a real thing.

If you’re losing at the half, you didn’t blow someone out.

Bragging about An asterisk title from 3 years ago?

This role reversal really is great.

My mistake. It was close until Georgia decided not to score any points the final two quarters of play.

We got guys transferring to Bama cause they can't play at UGA, Bama making excuses, etc, etc, etc....it is great!

I guess we can go back one Bama title if you want.
