Congrats man. That’s huge for a university that hasn’t won a national title in almost half a century

Thanks. Why didn’t you answer my question about LSU? Surely LSU finished somewhere in the top 25. Y’all were the best 5 loss team in the nation.

Yet UF was a much better team. Perhaps the best team doesnt always win head to head? Yes, that is true.

The stars aligned for UF vs UGA that day, but UGA ended up the better team in the final standings after every game.

A participation trophy doesn’t make him any better than Richt. 0 natty’s is 0 natty’s

The comparison isnt as simple as so many of yall want it to be. Its far more detailed than this.

Do you ever talk about the present or the future when it comes to Gator FB?

I get the reasons you probably don't want to do but it's still very weird.

You might be a little better off if you
get it off your chest Gary.

I picture Kirby like the end of Dodgeball, fat and cussing at f'ing Tua and Devonta.

Stopped reading when Lew weighed in with that erudite response.. Will just say that they seem to be equal in their ball licking ineptness in bringing home the hardware.

No excuses but besides Clemson no one else has consistently done any better in the SEC or out of it really besides Clemson. Alabama has the best college coach of all time on a historic run. Richt didn’t face that. Kirby has to own his issues but 2020 was a mess for everyone but Bama. Kirby needed to get it done when he had the chance in 2017. Just needs to keep getting at bats. UGA and Tennessee have the same number of natty’s in the last 20 years but I’d rather be UGA who at least has a shot if they get the offense figured out.

He was also gone before the playoffs. Better chance for 2 teams from the same conference that way.

Richt has coached for 5 years with the playoffs.
The same number of seasons as Kirby.

Are you dumb?
Or a liar?

Maybe Booger should get his arse on the sideline and try to run a program. Richt was a damn good coach and cemented a legacy in UGA history. He had a good run and could win 10 games a year with his eyes closed. He ran into Spurrier/ Meyer/ and Saban and couldn't get over the hump and had little to no backing by UGA. Kirby has put UGA into a position to be in the SECCG every year minus his first year and has top tier recruits pouring into Athens. He is on his third OC in five years. Kirby has problems that Richt couldn't dream of...not many programs in the country have position groups stacked with 5star kids. If Kirby finds an OC who will stick around five plus years, he will get over the hump. Richt didn't get fired for his early tenure, it was the last few years that caught up with him.

So how does it feel to be going into year 4 with Mullen and no closer to a top 10 finish or SEC title than year one?

How does it feel to have a coach in his fifth season with the most talented team in the country and he couldn't even win his own division?

Typical deflection from Straws and I haven't had one Gator thats even willing to talk about their disaster last season and their upcoming disaster
in '21.

Why is that?

Hey, maybe next year ths SEC gives ya 3 week break to get healthy in October along with us losing 5 starters on one side of the ball not to mention our top WR the WEEK before we play but somehow I doubt it.

2020 was SUPPOSED to be the YEAR in Gatorville and you end up with 4 losses?

How is that even possible?

Bro I'm not just speaking about the last 2-3 seasons... I just used those as examples... I'm talking about the last few decades... And I truly am baffled why you haven't won a NC title in over 40 years... All of the big dogs in the SEC have(the ones that have been with us for the last 40 at least.. Multiple CHAMPIONSHIPS for some of them... Florida and Louisiana and you guys are the only schools in out conference (and ATM now) but for 40 years who could realistically recruit their state only and could wins titles with in-state talent alone... I liked Richt and respect Kirby for being a defensive savant... Both have been very good but not GREAT coaches... Tales great coaching, recruiting, and a little luck to win a title in most circumstances... Unless one team is in a class of its own(ie. 2019 LSU/2020 BAMA)... Even the Spurrier/Meyer coached teams, Tennessee, Auburn have all been dominant and the best teams in CFB a few times... UGA is oddly missing.. Maybe it's coaching, not enough rabid fan support, or just plain bad luck...

Do you really expect a great OC to stick around 5 years? If so then you need to order you a new and improved wish machine.

2 years is about max and at Bama 1 and done is about it.
