Harris had a good fourth quarter when he was inserted to the game when Mississippi State was already winning by 24 points.

Caught off guard in the first conference game of the year?

As in they weren't expecting State to be as good as they were. No one in CFB thought they'd be ranked #1 for a majority of the season and we were the first team they went through.

Dude we broke it off in your arse last year and that should have never, ever, ever, ever happened on paper......ever.

it's the cocktail party dude, things happen. That's a whole different animal than frickin uga/kentucky.

And I bet you with all of your facts and figures could you could have written a dissertation on why UGA would never in eleventy bajillion years lose to UF last year.

I don't ever say there's no way we will lose to a "big" opponent. I've seen it happen too many times. For as long as I live, I have never and will never say "there is 0% chance no way whatsoever that we will lose to florida".

Point being that is why the OP said B O L D predictions, so why argue?

to paraphrase a poster above...because it's not just bold, it's dumb. I mean seriously. Withe the CP last year, you can say we got outcoached or outschemed or whatever. With us vs kentucky, we completely and utterly demolished them in pretty much every phase of the game. We scored 60+ points! And the game is in athens this year.

eta: btw, I predicted a 13 point win last year against uf. Considering the state of the 2 teams at the time that seems like a pretty reasonable guess I'd say.

So now y'all lost because you weren't expecting them to be good?

Dude they went in dry to the tune of 570 yards in Tiger Stadium. Ain't no underestimation bullshite about it. Y'all got whipped by the Dawgs.

You very well may beat them this season, but I wouldn't count any game in the SEC West as a guaranteed victory.

And I stopped taking your responses seriously when you said this because you're obviously not in touch with the players and staff

Soooo just disregard the amount of players they don't have returning right? makes sense. Getting caught off guard can become a real thing when you play a team every year and they haven't beaten you since 1999. Not to mention the underclassmen with little experience we had starting. I gauruntee no one would have though State would be ranked #1 for a majority of the season and we were the first team they went through.

In preparation for Mississippi State, I'm sure your players were well aware of the winning streak that started in 1999, when your quarterback was four years old.

They do lose a lot, but they still have a deep roster full of system players who have been under Mullen for three or four years.

After y'all went 8-5 last year, I figured an LSU fan marking any game as a victory would be a thing of the past.

Everything about UGA vs. UF goes out the door when both teams meet.

Daku has been training in the hyperbolic time chamber and his power levels have reached unprecedented levels.

No, but they haven't always played us tough like Arkansas or Ole miss year after year. We did just beat them 59-26 the year before.

Yes and the State game was a big wake up call to just how bad we actually were last year. I was seriously surprised we were able to turn things around by the end of the season and get 8 wins considering how bad the QB play was. Next year will be different. We had true freshman and inexperience sophomores at a ton of key skill and leadership positions last year so it'll be interesting to see how we do.

Gators upset mighty Tennessee to extend win streak to 11 games. Wait, that is a given.

Some of these I consider much more of upsets than others.

A&M over Bama
Miss State over Arkansas
LSU over Auburn
Kentucky over Florida
Tennessee over Georgia
Florida over Missouri
Ole Miss over LSU
Missouri over Tennessee
Vandy over 1 team in the SEC
Arkansas over LSU
South Carolina over Missouri

Non-upset pick: Tennessee over Florida

For someone who doesn't do it much you're pretty good at the trolling thing.

Les didn't overrule Chavis on Welter/Beckwith until after the Auburn game. Dak and Robinson don't get those yards if Beckwith is Manning the middle of the D, and you know this.

And fwiw, if Mullen "let off the gas" early enough to allow us to come within one play of winning he's a worse coach than Mason. He didn't let off anything. We adjusted and we came back.

Oh, and 10-7.
