That’s not what I alleged at all. If he was simply betting on games that’s illegal. That doesn’t mean he “fixed” games. As a coach, you’re not allowed to bet in that sport period.

Sounds like he has a major gambling problem and it’s just coming to surface, hope players weren’t placing bets for him

some bama folks are claiming he is having money issues. That makes sense. nobody in their right mind puts $100K on a college baseball game.

They have ways believe me. Look how long Pete Rose was doing it before he got caught. He is being investigated by U.S. Integrity among others and from what i understand that company is very good at what they do..You can’t mess with the mob’s money and not have your entire life forever under a microscope. See Tim Donaghy former NBA referee who fixed games, and what happened to him while in prison. These guys (coaches, referees, players etc) start out placing bets on games then get themselves in debt. They become desperate so they start fixing games to try and cover their debts.

Auburn is the root of all evil in the SEC. Shut ‘em down and annex Lee County into Georgia.

Lol he could have placed bets on games but not necessarily had them fixed. It’s not inconceivable to think they want investigate his time at Auburn but think what y’all want.

I know college baseball was major business for bookies back in the day but I've never really understood it. I can see betting on winning a series but an individual game? Baseball is way too unpredictable.

what exactly would that accomplish? How much deeper shite can he get in? AS A HC, he bet on his team to lose. That is game fixing.

In baseball betting on them to win is just as bad. It would be easy to burn up your bullpen on an otherwise meaningless game.

you are grasping at straws and you have made yourself look a fool. You may want to put down the tin foil hat, the crack pipe and just back away.

ETA he was at Auburn two years. He was at UK from 2004-2015. Do they get "investigated" too? He was at Wake before that. Maybe we should go all the way back to the early 2000's?

You don't know much about gambling or baseball, do you Sally?

Read up on the Pete Rose scandal. He was never accused of betting against the Reds. Betting on your team to win an individual game affects in-game decisions.

Who is they? BetUS? 5-dimes? they going to launch an investigation from Costa Rica?

You keep comparing it to Pete Rose.. the MLB handle back then (even today) is orders of magnitude higher than college baseball. the comparison doesn't hold up

even if they do.. why would Auburn care? this isnt an indictment of auburn and it's not like they're going to wipe of any records or championships from Auburn during CBB's time there

I’m talking about any bets that were placed on Auburn games while he was an AC coach there not Auburn itself!! He could have been gambling then which would have been illegal if he placed bets on any baseball games not just Auburn games. I’m not saying he fixed games at Auburn. I’m saying any gambling he did in baseball period! Get a grip!

Y’all are such simpletons in the entire state of Alabama I swear! Always close-minded & delusional. Ummmm maybe they want to see how far his ties go back to gambling and to see who else may have been involved? I mean it’s the first time this has been exposed in college baseball. Lol But go ahead take it like I’m trying to throw Auburn under the bus when that wasn’t my point at all. 7 years ago isn’t that long ago! Les Miles left LSU in 2016, and was investigated for things at LSU 6 years later while HC at Kansas. They actually never proved all of the allegations against him, but he was investigated and also fired from Kansas!!
