Just like the Pete Rose gambling scandal, Bohannon’s entire career as a coach and player will now be under a microscope and investigated for years. If he’s done this at other schools, it will all come out, and unfortunately other schools besides Bama will take the fall for it too including Auburn.

Bohannon was an ace pitching coach at Auburn, we actually got worse on the mound and in the bullpen after he left

I remember Bama fans celebrating his hire from Auburn as a huge coup that would cripple our program bc he was the real brains behind Butch

he stayed in a Holiday Inn in Baton Rouge many times. With everything else going on at LSU, will this be the tipping point?

Lol what is that supposed to mean? It wasn’t a knock at Auburn. They very well could and probably will investigate Auburn too if he’s done this for a while now. That’s just common sense.

Lol this wasn’t a knock at Auburn. Y’all are more defensive than the gumps. ?? I’m just saying after Pete Rose got caught, they investigated his entire coaching / playing career. Sports betting is even bigger now, and they have the means to investigate whatever they want if necessary. ???????

he was at Auburn seven years ago. He could have been doing this back then, but how much leverage do pitching coaches have in the grand scheme of things?

it means if you want to start dragging other schools into this shite why not drag LSU into it they were playing LSU when they got caught, who knows maybe LSU was in on it.

basically you’re reading way too much into this shite

Lol I’m not defending Bama at all by any means! I hate Bama too! I’m just saying I think they will investigate anywhere he’s coached / played possibly. Maybe not, but they could. ???????

If it was 7 years ago, they won't. Statutes of limitation make that a fruitless effort.

I’m not suggesting that he “fixed” Auburn games. You gotta look at the bigger picture here. If he was placing bets at all, that’s illegal even for a pitching coach. That’s what I mean by his entire career being investigated as a coach, assistant and player. He obviously didn’t act alone, so they want to be sure all involved are held accountable especially being the first biggest gambling scandal in college baseball.

Lol I’m not dragging the school itself into this. I’m simply saying how far back they will go to investigate to find dirt on HIM not necessarily Auburn or saying they did anything wrong. Just the simple fact that he could have been betting on Auburn games which is still illegal, but not necessarily fixing the game.

Sounds like he has a major gambling problem and it’s just coming to surface, hope players weren’t placing bets for him

how exactly would they investigate his entire career?

I guess it could be possible if he has had the same phone most of his adult life, but..........
