Since 1992, Arkansas and Vanderbilt have only played 6 times. We get shafted when schedules are realigned it seems.

You know what schools would be great for the Big XII?

Missouri and Nebraska

Neither of the Oklahoma schools will ever join the SEC

Dropping Hogs and Mizzou would not hurt the SEC tv brand at all and you could basically split the same money 12 ways instead of 14.

No offense at all to Arkansas ... but at this juncture, I'm sure any half-way decent university with a pulse would be an "excellent" fit for the Big Dumpster Fire.

The Big 12 is hurting as a brand and needs anything to help with perception. "Stealing" a school or two from the SEC would do much to bolster up a failing image. They also need schools badly, 10 won't cut it and they don't want to add any G5 schools that will be just getting a check. Losing Arky and Mizzou wouldn't hurt the SEC as long as we kept Aggie. Losing Arky, Mizzou, LSU and Aggie would hurt plenty though

An opportunity to win a conference. Playing in traditional recruiting territories. Less travel. There are many reasons Arky would consider the move. IF the LHN were scrapped, and profit sharing was enacted, what would be the reason to stay in the SEC?

Big 12 has a conference title game nowm

I know they do but only because the NCAA revised the rules regarding conference championships to allow them to have one with just 10 teams.

Texas would need to do a lot different to make the league more equitable. They're the poison pill.

I like how the Big 12 rotates their tourneys better than the SEC traditionally has.

The league would need a major overhaul, though. It's a dumpster fire right now.

TBH, I would prefer a smaller league. 14 teams is just too big. It feels more like two leagues in one. 12 is the right number.

Big 12 baseball has come a long way. Basketball would also be fun.

I actually don't care. We're a border state so it will always be a topic of conversation.

The Big 12 baseball tourney in Bricktown is one of the few things I miss actually. Especially with Tech being really good now which they never were before and TCU being in the conference

Yeah I miss pretty much all of basketball. Like ideally we would just play basketball in the Big 12. SEC basketball sucks
