Of course the Big 12's #1 target in expansion would be Arkansas. That's obvious af. But, we turn them down every time.

Would feel better about it if LSU made the jump too. That way it would feel less like we were running from the SEC and it would bring a solid rival with us.

This is probably total bullshite, but the other night someone was chirping about how the Big12 was looking to abolish the LHN in order to form a Big12 Network. Then the Big12 would invite Arkansas and Nebraska and offer quite a lot of money.

Would love Arkansas in the Big 12 and seems a better geographic fit than the SEC.
But most hog and aggie fans I know seem content chanting SEC!! in my face and finishing around .500 every year.

All things considered it would probably be better for college football as a whole. It would bring the Big 12 back up to 12 teams so that they can have a legit conference championship and the SEC would go back to 12 teams solving a lot of scheduling issues.
