Tommy redshirted bc of an elbow injury. He was a RS fr. Herb was a true fresh in 95. Harris was a true fresh. Those are the only ones I can think of in the last 30 years.
Bo Nix biggest problem is Gus. His route designs and play calls are a WB’s worse nightmare. Les is comparable. Puts a QB in lots of 3rd and plus 5 Situations when the dive isn’t working. Bo will have to make plays with his feet every drive to be successful. That’s a lot of hits to take in a season. Kid is capable , I am just not convinced Gus will put him in the best position to be successful.

Nix reminds me a little of Aaron Murray right now. Other than the accuracy issues. He is a gamer and will put his body on the line like Murray did. I hated Auburn playing against him.
If he gets his happy feet fixed and learns to throw on the run, he will be a excellent college QB.

Lmao we didn’t almost lose. We were up 10 then AU got a garbage time touchdown. If Bo Dix was even competent and decently accurate, he woulda thrown three pick 6’s. His throws were that horrible.
