He got caught doing something Saban did his entire career and wasn't allowed back because of it. Business is business, but don't try to convince yourself Saban was naive to what he was doing. I've heard first hand from some high school coaches some of the shite Saban pulled as a recruiter. He was a master of bending the rules, and I don't blame him for it. Just don't try to put him up on some holier than thou pedestal.

Bo did a great job of developing our interior defensive line. Although his recruiting efforts were consistently poor. Texas generally utilizes the portal much less than the average P4 program, but we’ve had to collect 3-4 IDL bodies from the portal the last two off-seasons due to the lack of depth in that room because of Bo. We were able to lure him away from Detroit, but Kelly seems to have pushed him back to the NFL.

Just means that LSU is taking someone's very good DL coach from them very soon. Wouldn't be surprised If it's from a fellow sec program either. We comin.

He had a top 3 DL class this year at LSU. It was less about his recruiting efforts and more about Texas not allocating enough NIL to DL. Since his departure Texas has allocated more to DL NIL.

Bo knows that BK is a dead man walking. It's not NIL. He'd be looking for a job after this year, anyway.

Who knew that unlimited tranfers and legal pay for play bidding wars would have adverse affects. Rome is burning.

Steve, it seems like we ended up better off in the end.

I rember when LSU stole an assistant from New Orleans Saints and that made the former New Orleans Saints HC Sean Payton mad.
