Well, no baseball players deserve quarter BILLION contracts either but no bats an eye anymore when the Yankees, Mariners, Red Sox, and various other MLB teams are offering such contracts. That's not even counting the NBA where literally every team has at least a couple of players making over $10 million a year. I'll be outraged and embarrassed and feel the need to apologize for Saban's salary the minute every single MLB and NBA fan apologizes for the insane amount of money their team owners spend on player contracts. The selective moral outrage reserved for certain college football coaches is a hypocritical joke.

Arkansas couldn't afford to play hardball with Texas like Alabama did. Only 3 or 4 schools do have enough $$$ to play a game of chicken with Texas.
