Why I’m fricks name does Malzahn make $7 million dollars?

There’s probably only 2 coaches in the country that actually deserve that much

Malzahn has saved his job by unexpectedly beating Bama and winning the west a couple of times. Even last year he “exceeded expectations” based on preseason projections.

He’s surviving by the skin of his teeth.

I’ll take the one who actually won their division/conference

The one that was 0-6 or the one that is 2-5?

Gus Malzahn has lost an impressive 4.8 games per year since Gene handedly him his only good team!

Gus has finished below .500 in conference play two times while at Auburn.

Sumlin only accomplished that one time at Texas A&N!

Gus and Sumlin went 3-3 against each other.

But one had a Heisman winner and isn’t arse in the postseason - plus he’s $2,000,000 cheaper...

Gus owning Saban is irrefutable proof that Nick is not actually a good football coach

Solid truths though.

Still taking that loss from Saturday poorly. We know Gus sucks. That's why essentially the entire fanbase is ready to get rid of him.

I don't personally care about the salary portion though. Paying him $2 million/year isn't going to make that horrific bowl record feel any better

I agree with that.

I just find it strange that Auburn bumped Gus up to $7,000,000 after a 4 loss season that ended with them losing to UCF and ranked #25. Oof!

They may bump him to $10,000,000 if he makes a NY6 bowl and actually wins it.

Well that didn’t exactly happen. Does summlin have any sec championships or divisional ones? You are also comparing salaries from different time frames.

Willy T is your life so trivial you feel the need to constantly troll the rant?

It’s hard to deny now that I’ve used science to prove it.

Just don’t understand why you all would pay a sucky coach $7,000,000.

Couldn’t that be spent on locking up Bruce Pearls?

Or paying off the NCAA to make your pending Notice of Allegations go away?

What about LSU’s pending noa? Clearly they could have saved money with O and used it for this as well. No one was coming after him...

Divisional championships - tell Ole Miss I said hi.

Sumlin wasn’t gifted a team that a national champion coach built. Malzahmlin was...

Correct. Because they know he wouldn’t leave. Not because he has 5 losses every frickin year

Could you link where LSU said they were awaiting one? Something like this: Auburn officials expect to receive a formal notice of allegations from the NCAA

I hate Auburn and Malzahn sucks and is overpaid, but mighty convenient of you to leave out 2013 when he went 12-2 and 7-1 just to match a six year span.
