Sumlin wasn't paid $5 Million/year until the 2014 season.
And Gus wasn’t paid $7,000,000 until his stellar 10-4 season.

Which makes your original point even more of a fail.

Malzahn is 17-9 with a 1-1 bowl record on his current salary, which is STILL better than Sumlin at his 2014-2017 salary.

Let's compare the last two seasons.

Sumlin (2018-2019 Arizona): 9-15
Malzahn (2018-2019 Auburn): 17-9

as far as this goes....

National Championships as a head coach
Ed Orgeron: 1

Gene Chizk: 1

Larry Coker: 1

all three prove a blind hog can find an acorn every now and then.

Again incorrect. Did your parents call you “special” when growing up?

but mighty convenient of you to leave out 2013 when he went 12-2 and 7-1 just to match a six year span.

so willie t. conveniently leaves Gus' best year off? Who could have seen that coming?

Just to get this correct. Chizik was around 4 million for his one championship O is 7 million for 1 NC. Yikes...

Sorry if I am bringing up childhood trauma. Prayers sent for that and the LSU and Kansas losses. I know it’s hard on you. How are the dogs ribs?

I went back and looked at O's 7 year coaching record.....

It's 41-36. Yikes.

The point was to hypothetically select a coach based off of their actual resume and a hypothetical salary.

I could've put $100 for each.

Or I could've put $7.5M for each.

But most schools wouldn't pay that much for a coach losing 4+ games a year... most schools.

Yet you left off Gus' best year.......so you didn't use their actual resume.......just the part you wanted to use.

Ensminger isn't that bad even on his own. Besides against Alabama.
