lol
I still laugh thinking about Pruitt going down to the Plains his 1st year with an AWFUL 5-7 VOLS team and beating them while literally screaming to the UT defense what plays Auburn was running as they called them.

This is an excellent thread
I thought it was very informative.
After sorting through the evidence - I actually felt bad about calling Jimbo the most overpaid coach in the SEC.
He’s still very overpaid - but he did win a natty - so it’s understandable. Oh, and who did he beat to win it?
Gus fricking Malzahmlin.

It does my heart good knowing that for seven out of the last ten years, LSU has given the poor little Barners one of their yearly 4 loses. It always feels good ruining Auburn’s season , especially when we do it early in the season. Ruining Auburn’s season in September helps take all the excitement out of the Barner season early so they don’t have to worry about winning a championship for all the rest of their games. They can be at peace knowing it’s not their year, again.

quote:I would’ve done seven if Sumlin was at Texas A&N for seven years. Comparing a resume with uneven timelines makes no sense.
but mighty convenient of you to leave out 2013 when he went 12-2 and 7-1 just to match a six year span.
I could include that 12-2 record - but I would then need to include Sumlin’s 12-1 record from his last year at Houston. Understand?

Well, the moobs in right column's silhouette were a dead giveaway.

one trick pony, willie t..
ETA btw, I thought it was a smart move of you not to put O's coaching resume next to either one of those. Very sly.

Pruitt definitely has Malzahn's number.

Agreed.
National Championships as a head coach
Ed Orgeron: 1
Kevin Sumlin: 0
Gus Malzahn: 0
It’s not fair to compare a national championship-winning head coach to these two bums.

... but this thread is about shitty coaches!

Divisional championships - tell Ole Miss I said hi.
Oh so LSU doesn’t promote sec west championships(or co champs)? Does ole miss have an outright west champ. Nice for you to gloss over sec champs.

Sumlin wasn’t gifted a team that a national champion coach built. Malzahmlin was...

Sorry you live in a bubble. They said they were expecting to do the same to LSU. Sorry your school hides stuff from you. Again you will survive. Hopefully suicide is not an end result. We are here for you Willy t

^^^ this is why Gus is making $7,000,000.
I’ve presented simple facts and this Auburn fan just closes his eyes and screams about something else.
You can’t fix something until you admit that it is broken!

So what’s going to happen when Auburn threepeats as SEC champs in basketball?

Sumlin wasn't paid $5 Million/year until the 2014 season.
His record on THAT salary was 27-20 (15-17) with a bowl record of 1-2.
Epic fail on OP's part.
