Honestly, I am overjoyed CBS is gone. They realized ungodly profits from televising Florida / Georgia, Tennessee / Bama, LSU / Bama , Auburn / Georgia, The “largest cocktail party game”, just to name a few. We were paid shite. As far as the music, I don’t care really.
It will be fun seeing those ice bowl games in November against Penn State and Minnesota.
Big 10 can’t touch anything as cool as Saturday night on a beautiful fall evening in Red stick. I say

There was a time when CBS seemed worse than everyone else, but now I’m not so sure. Every game on any channel is loaded with them.
However, no one could match the quality of some of the stadium and crowd shots CBS put together.

Whoever the editor was that let slide consecutive highlights of Indiana to Purdue to Northwestern to Minnesota to Maryland to Rutgers to Illinois should probably be fired yesterday.

Yeah and the 2:30 intros on a crisp and clear October/November afternoon were the tits. Always gave you a little pep even knowing Gary was about to deepthroat Tebow or Saban. I do miss Verne. He added a little mystique to it as well because you knew he was right there with you being a few drinks in by kickoff.

The Big 10 teams play so slowly outside of OSU, all of those slow-motion clips looked like they were at full speed.

Actually, the three networks (Fox, CBS, ESPN) will hold a "draft" for games. Link to article- CBS I do think the interesting thing the Big 10 will do is have a NFL-style broadcast schedule on Saturday...
