You’ll be begging for Billy to come back after a couple of seasons of AAC Sumrall.

Billy seems like a good person and I hope he does well at his new gig.

How do you think his current salary at James Madison compares to yours?

He should have read this board. Folks here diagnosed his problems years ago.
His one overwhelming flaw is his ego. It creates all his problems. Most notably, he had four years to realize he was shite at OC. He got extra money to hire an OC and he just used it to give guys already on staff a raise.
JMU as condition for hiring him demanded he hire an OC. But that hasn’t fixed his ego. I won’t predict exactly how, but that is going to trip him up in other ways.

Some Florida fans still think you are a Miami or FSU fan.

Considering LSU and UF are basically the same from SEC titles to NC to drafted players to head to head(which is even 34-34-3)..yea, you are basically saying LSU sucks as well.
Not so much recently. Since Spurrier departed, LSU holds a 16-8 record versus the Gators. Since 2010 it's even worse with LSU having an 11-4 mark. Since 2000 LSU has 5 SEC titles vs 3 for the Gators.
In terms of relevance and brand, the shine has been off the apple for a good while for the Gators. You've changed coaches 7 times after Spurrier while LSU has changed coaches only 4 times. Simply put, UF lost its mojo.
By any measure UF has been a shadow of what Spurrier built, squandering its potential and talented rosters. LSU has squandered a lot of its talent as well but has performed better. LSU has one losing season since 2000 while the Gators have had 6.

It’s almost like UF fans yelled this for several years

They become HC's, they bring their offense with them, but their ego won't let them evolve or allow others to take over. They do this to their detriment, many have lost high profile, lucrative HC jobs all because of their own damn stubbornness.

And you’re assuming Sumrall will be any better? Dude is a glorified cheerleader

FIFY. It wasn't a novel thing to call out Napier's shortcomings.

LSU has absolutely been the better more consistent program since 2000 no doubt. That doesn’t change what the standard of a program is though. Expecting us to just be happy with a buffoon AD and HC is retarded. Idk why anyone would side with Billy on his firing, we gave him 4 years he had top 10 recruiting and he sucked.

Billy Napier went wrong for Florida.

He pointed out new head coach Jon Sumrall kept about a dozen staff members who had spent multiple years with the team.
Napier seems like a good dude, but the bottom line is Winning and he didn't cut it. It's one thing to win in the SUNBELT or AAC but it is quite a step up to the SEC.

He (SBB) went wrong from the moment he uttered that stupid phase "scared money don't make money". He was the definition of scared coaching.
frick him and his skinhead 'do.
