I would say Dyer. Even though he did give us two good years.

I guess i was just thinking about what he could have potentially done.

I think that we all feel like that with King and Ealey. They weren't busts because of their talent. They just weren't around long enough for us to see them peak. With that being said, Dyer's ceiling is arguably much higher than King or Ealey's ever was.

i think what we saw with caleb is about his plateu. ealey maybe not but king was just bad. maybe not but talent but instinct and desire

When I looked at the thread title, I thought it was about Dre Kirkpatrick.

Leon Hart was a "beast" on the extra point team.

Yeah, Caleb King was garbage. I thought he was overrated in high school.
Troupe and Brown.. BIG TIME BUSTS!
Kiante Tripp rings pretty loudly too.. Thought he'd make impact early and leave early.

Coming out of the Albany area all I heard was how much of a badass Israel Troup was going to be at Georgia. I never heard his name again when he got to Athens.

LSU's by far is Xavier Carter

Every "the next Joe Namath" QB that has signed with Bama since I have been alive.

Bobby Sabelhaus 1995 #1 QB in the nation. Signed with UF and never played a down for the Gators.....

Dyer's the first that comes to mind (man, what an idiot...), but Tray Blackmon was a pretty big bust too.

This thread proves one thing for sure: If you do not want a Bama fan to post in your thread, ask them to post something bad or negative about their program.

Did you watch Auburn football before November 2010?
How does a guy with over 2000+ rushing yards in 2 years qualify as a bust? Did he leave potential on the table? Yes. But he isn't in the same universe as "biggest" SEC bust.

Dyer wasn't an SEC bust AT ALL. Wish people would stop saying this. Back to back 1000 yard seasons.. You're just bitter he left.
A bust is someone who does not perform up to expectations or anywhere close to them. Dyer performed above and beyond expectations. He was recruited to be a star, he came in and performed like a star, off the field issues just moved him away from Auburn.

John Brantley: Enough Said
Deonte Thompson: maybe not awful, but sometimes so inconsistent during his career
Will Hill: Meh on the field, although dude could get some off of it

I remember being devastated when Hart (from Columbia) signed with Auburn.
