Final Four. No one watched the College World Series. I wish State would stop prioritizing a meaningless sport.

LSU has four Final Fours and zero wins at the Final Four. Feels hollow.
I was at the CWS Final in 2000 and that was amazing. Went back in 2017 when we lost to Florida and didn't feel much. It doesn't sting 1/100th as much as 21-0 did.
We are talking apples and oranges but the Final Four is not THE trophy. You don't get to declare you were the best in the land. It's a great achievement but it ends in disappointment.

Final Fours are great for bragging rights and exposure but it's not a title.

I think the morning after the championship game the highlights will make the normal world morning news and talkshows.
I'm not 100% sure ESPN even covers the winner of the world series as a lead story the next morning.

That’s a tough call for me. Making final 4 still likely means you don’t win the title. Hurts to get so close and not seal the deal. I will take the baseball title since it’s a lock.

Final four, easily.
You can ask me this in June, also, and I will still say the same thing.
In terms of exposure, you could equate a CWS title to a NIT title.
Obviously, it would feel better for the baseball over the NIT, I'm just talking national exposure.

Making 1 final four means much more to a university then winning 10 college world series titles unless you are a baseball school like say Lswho
