Yeah, but he wasn't at Tennessee when he did that.

He obviously meant to say Boob Stoops, Bob's cousin.

Jon Gruden, Bob Stoops, Peyton Manning....

In reality, they are going to end up with somebody like Skip Holtz or Scott Satterfield

He will be coaching somewhere next year. Might as well be for the Vols.

Stoops to VOLS would add some much needed clout to this shite group of current SEC coaches

Plus V&S can start back posting. (he will get his mojo back). Maybe...

I have spoken to V&S via back channels and he is taking a much needed break from worrying about VOLS. He will be back soon enough with a sack full of bricks

Possible but he seemed happy to retire.

Add in he left OU...and Tenn right now is a down grade from what he had at OU.

Still. Possible.

Went to George Washington and Vanderbilt Law. His grandfather (who played for General Neyland) is rolling over in his grave at half of the stuff he writes about UT...especially during his bromance with James Franklin.

If Stoops coaches again it will be in the NFL, there was no reason to leave OU especially with the team he had coming back unless the MIxon saga soured him on everything.

Stoops retired to spend more time with his family and not have a heart attack on the field in his early 50s like his dad.

Why would he leave Oklahoma if he weren't finished coaching?

Stoops is 3-0 against Alabama, hence why I said he would love to start doing it every annum in October
