The gay hawk does have a point about beating Texas every year … you guys are good for something I guess… now if we can figure out how to close out basketball wins vs Kansas ever again that is a different story . Think that’s like 4 in row we lost when leading with less than 4 to go .

A conference with a power conference future would let them go so they could start rebuilding their brand without the departing programs.
The Big-12 has no future as a power conference so they’re going to hold onto OU and UT until the last check clears from their existing contractual agreements.
That’s just the way it is. Acting like this is a power play is myopic. This is a show of weakness from the Big-12…an admission of the lean days ahead for them.

Arkansas fans remember our last season in the SWC and hope for the same and more for the Longhorns. It will be hilarious watching them be powerless lame ducks the next few seasons and trying to recruit during this.

Got to admit that Big 12 tried really hard to get us to stay but the LHN and Dodds refusal use it as a conference network pushed us away. Dodds really f'ed things up back then. The LHN has proven to be one of the worst decisions ever made by ESPN. It will be eliminated if and when 'sip joins the SEC. Best thing 'sip has done in the last decade was to send Dodds packing. He brought y'alls athletic programs to a new low.
