FSU would be a bigger get than Florida and Miami combined. Miami is irrelevant.

That's 15 more than you will have at your Super.

Sorry to the rest of the Hog fans, but he is being an idiot.

Florida exists as it does because it’s the only SEC school in a massive state. Not counting Vandy, Florida has the least in common with the average SEC program. I’m not from Florida but my impression is that FSU has significant better fan support than Florida. Athletics south of the panhandle are an afterthought.

Everything you just posted is wrong.

“We” ? Arrogance is already starting before you people are even in the conference. Show some humility.

100% correct

The only reason UF has any relevance in athletics at all is that it is in the SEC.

FSU is more relevant despite being in the ACC.

If we switched conferences, UF would be a UCF level program at best. Maybe even closer to USF.

Heck, FAU had made a bigger splash hiring Tom Herman than UF did with Billy Napier.

Truth be told, UF is brining down the perception of the SEC with their lack of commitment to athletic excellence in major sports.

And the only school that has won a Natty in football the last 23 years is Miami. That would give them a whopping 3 titles in 23 years to add to Ohio State’s 2.

Educate me, please. Florida could own the SEC and they make Arkansas/Ole Miss level hires and perpetually accept mediocrity. They won 2 titles under Donovan and then they proceeded to let Mike White piss on the program. They have a casual fanbase.

LSU, Georgia and Bama fans would riot if their team gave up 50+ points to Samford. Florida accepts that shite. Hell they probably have their priorities in order more than the other fanbase I just mentioned. Just calling it like I see it. They’re not cut from the same cloth.

UF has always been the “little brother” program of the Big 3 Florida teams.

Miami and FSU really spearheaded the idea that Florida is a powerhouse college football state and the Gates rode our coattails.

Miami has a winning record against them and more titles.

FSU won their title first and
Won more recently. But the FSU- and Miami brands are really what people think of when they think of elite college football in the state of Florida

Not to mention that Georgia is their big brother in the SEC east, Uf fans are used to playing second or third fiddle to true powerhouse programs, this their fans are more willing to settle for mediocrity.

Uh on, no FSU
they aren’t academically on par with the others on the list

That leaves us w NC State, VA Tech and FSU - which are all better fits for the SEC

I’d rather have UNC than NC State, but if the Tarheels are offered a spot in both conferences (which seems somewhat likely); my money is on them going B1G
