Beware: LSU fans hype up Woodward like they hyped up Orgeron

Louisiana folks love to see one of their own do good and overhype their natives. LSU fans wanted Orgeron on their staff for years when he was at USC, Tennessee, and the Saints. Now, after having a very successful run at head coach LSU is firing Orgeron and they think they have the best AD in the country. If LSU botches which could very well happen in the hypercompetitive SEC watch how LSU fans turn on Woodward.

From a facilities , tradition , fan support and $$$ standpoint LSU probably has the premier college baseball program in the country. You saw how that search turned out.

Shaft Williams: Really, you are pushing some narrative that is not true. O as a DL coach was fine, but there were people who did not want him on staff when Miles hired him.
O is getting fired more for his off the field nonsense, some which is public knowledge and some not so (may become public eventually). He had no support from any power brokers, Governor JBE, the LSU BOS, the New President (Tate) or Woody.
