Both of these guys are underrated in my opinion but I feel like Aaron Murray wasn't fully appreciated in his time at UGA. A lot of Dawg fans were happy to see him go when I think he was the best QB in UGA history. Thoughts?

Greens was a great college role player QB, Murray is more talented...

I think now we might hear some revisionist history but a lot of them thought he choked in big moments.

Maybe is was due to the last play of the 2012 SEC Championship?

Murray was asked to do more. And I think you'll have a hard time finding a UGA that was happy to see him go.

Murray. Give him Greene's defense and look out, especially with no Bama on the other side of the conference.

Greene made fewer mistakes. Murry went Murry way too many times. But I didn't miss a snap watching him play.

I keep wanting to say Murray, but it may be because his career is still fresh in my mind, and Greene's is 15 years old at this point.

bullshite, opposing fans thought this but not most UGA fans.

Again, bullshite. He didn't call that play, an all American for Bama made a great play and our freshman WR made a mistake by catching it.

No. After the 2012 South Carolina game, people wanted Murray benched for Hutson Mason. That wasn't the only time.

Fans are idiots, don't underestimate that.

Several of us Georgia fans actually had to explain to other Georgia fans that Aaron Murray, the all time leader in every significant passing stat in the history of the SEC, was deserving of being a starter over a guy who couldn't throw the ball more than 15 yards down the field amidst a 12 win season.

Never underestimate how stupid people are.

To answer OP's question, Murray was better. Greene was an all-timer, but he simply wasn't the all-around quarterback Murray was. Go back and look at 2012 and the first half of 2013 - it was the best offense Georgia has ever played.
