A lot of Dawg fans were happy to see him go when I think he was the best QB in UGA history. Thoughts?

I haven't heard a dawg fan yet say they were glad to see Murray go.

Murray was better, if only he had a defense like Uga had in 02. Greene was good but his 04 season sucked

Murray easily. Greene played in a far weaker conference and had a far better defense. Georgia gave up 30+ points one time in Greene's career. They gave up 30+ in 3 of the first 4 games of Murray's senior season.

Also, Murray's offenses were a lot scarier to defend and were more explosive than Greene's.

If not for the single luckiest play I've ever seen in 2013, Murray would have the single gutsiest win ever by a UGA QB that year against auburn. We were out of that game at half and he almost single handedly willed us to a big road win. And then fricking JHC and Trigga Tray made names for themselves and ruined it.

I mean, I went to UGA at that time (I'm a Gator and a Dawg; HOPE Scholarship) and I remember the vibe around the team very well. Maybe I was more sensitive about it because I'm a big Murray fan but I found myself defending him when I was talking to other students a lot.

Fans are idiots, especially the student kind of fan that is shitfaced 100% of the time while watching the games.

What is the luckiest play you have ever seen? Aaron Murray himself being given credit for a touchdown he really did not score against Auburn

Well, he was stoned on 4th down. But the refs gave him a touchdown anyway, so don't give him too much credit.

Murray wasn't really clutch until his senior year. Although he did put up numbers.

I personally enjoyed seeing Murray return the favor the next year, especially after Richt said in the preseason that Clowney was the best player he's ever seen.
