he was stoned on 4th down. But the refs gave him a touchdown anyway, so don't give him too much credit.

You always choose to ignore the missed face mask which is the only reason for the stop. By now, you know better but choose to act like a tard.

but I feel like Aaron Murray wasn't fully appreciated in his time at UGA

I thought he was more of a choke artist 2011-2012, but his last year in '13 showed me just how balls to the wall tough/clutch he could be. The pass/game against LSU in '13, the entire USC game in '13, the 50+ yard run against Tennessee when we needed it, the near comeback against Auburn (ruined by that Prayer), and him holding his knee in place just for a few more snaps in Sanford against Kentucky. He earned being called a UGA great, but Greene holds an SEC title over him. Granted Greene didn't have to try and slay Saban's 2012 team.

Both are DGDs and I've been missing Murray ever since.

After the Clemson game in 2013, a lot of people were upset with Murray but it was somewhat justifiable based on how poor of a game he had. He was missing wide open receivers all game long. People were frustrated that he struggled in the "big games" like UF and SC in 2012.

Then he went off against SC, LSU, and almost singlehandedly won us the UT game and those fans stopped complaining about him.

I guess I'll break the ice... I wasn't a big Murray fan. Don't get me started on that final drive in the SECCG. Many blame Richt... I didn't.

I'll take the all time SEC leader in passing.

Like Crow said, give AM Greene's defense and you have a juggernaut.

Murray is probably the only QB we've ever had who would have gotten us down field so quickly against that Alabama defense. Maybe Shockley.

He choked in big games a lot his freshman and sophomore years. He was better his junior and senior year.

Well that is just stupid. Murray led us down the field against an awesome defense in less than a minute with zero time outs. I blame the coaching staff for sure. There are multiple instances in that drive where 5-10 seconds ran off the clock while Murray was waiting for a play to get called.

Additionally, Aaron Murray is one of the best quarterbacks I have ever seen in executing the back shoulder throw. He and Tavarres King were unstoppable near the end of their careers with that play.
