I never saw a game where a team runs 100 plays from scrimmage (Clemson) and gets no offensive penalties..none..against a defense of that caliber. They let them do more then hold.

Yea, between that and all the chances we had on offense to put that game away.....tough one to lose.

1986 Miami Hurricanes: Vinny Testaverde (Heisman), Michael Irvin, Alonzo Highsmith, Jerome Brown. Lost 14-10 to Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl. Outgained them about 450-150 in total yardage but turned the ball over.
1994 Penn State: Kerry Collins, Ki-Jana Carter. Undefeated but didn't get a shot at Nebraska.
2000 Miami: All the 2001 studs plus Dan Morgan and Reggie Wayne. Probably would have beat the shite out of Oklahoma at the end of the year.

Where's the 1941 hardware? That doesn't exist either. Might as well have 1966 which is a more more legit title team.

2015 Kentucky by a mile over anyone else in any sport ever.

09 Gators. Having a competent OC they were unbeatable. Freaking Addazio.

Penn State in ‘94 would be correct answer.

'83 Nebraska. That team crushed everybody and then went for 2 in the title game.

2016 bama might not be the best to ever fall short, but it's a damn crying shame they did.
I'd probably go with 2005 USC.

Yes. They beat every team on the schedule.
I didn't say they won every game on the schedule.
